Vikram Aroma Limited reported a net loss of Rs 56.79 lakhs for Q2 FY26 (ended Sept 30, 2025), compared to a loss of Rs 32.83 lakhs in the same quarter last year and a profit of Rs 6.34 lakhs in the previous quarter (Q1 FY26). Revenue from operations rose about 25% year-on-year to Rs 601.43 lakhs (vs Rs 480.63 lakhs in Q2 FY25), but total expenses surged to Rs 676.46 lakhs, driven mainly by a spike in inventory changes (Rs 209.97 lakhs) and higher depreciation and finance costs, pushing the company into a loss. For the half-year (H1 FY26), the company posted a net loss of Rs 50.45 lakhs on total income of Rs 1,118.50 lakhs, an improvement from a loss of Rs 104.72 lakhs in H1 FY25. The limited review report from auditor J.T. Shah & Co. is clean (unqualified). A related party transaction disclosure for the half year was also filed alongside.
Despite strong top-line growth of around 25% in Q2, sharp cost pressures and negative operating leverage turned the quarter into a loss, which may concern investors. However, the half-year picture shows losses narrowing meaningfully year-on-year, suggesting some operational recovery.
