Wholly-owned subsidiary NOPL Solar Projects has secured a rupee term loan of up to Rs 2,941.19 crore from IREDA to develop a 969 MWac / 1,163 MWp solar power project under the MSKVY 2.0 scheme in Maharashtra, with total project cost around Rs 4,201.70 crore. This finalises financing for the Rs 3,517.98 crore EPC contract already awarded to Vikran Engineering. A corporate guarantee by Vikran is proposed but not yet executed, so no direct liability is created on the listed entity at present.
Locks in financing for a major EPC order, de-risking execution and revenue recognition from the Rs 3,517.98 crore solar project.
