Virtuoso Optoelectronics reported Q3 FY26 consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 20,577.44 lakhs, recovering sharply from a weak Q2 (Rs 9,783.77 lakhs) and broadly matching Q1 (Rs 20,318.59 lakhs). Nine-month revenue stood at Rs 50,679.80 lakhs versus a full-year FY25 figure of Rs 69,897.93 lakhs. Net profit for the quarter was Rs 803.32 lakhs (basic EPS of Rs 2.60), reversing the Rs 388.42 lakh loss in Q2. Nine-month net profit came in at Rs 1,057.46 lakhs (EPS Rs 3.51). During the quarter, the company allotted 5,86,081 equity shares at Rs 455 each (aggregating Rs 26.67 crore) on conversion of warrants issued to non-promoters on a preferential basis. The auditor SKVM & Co. issued an unmodified limited review report but included an Emphasis of Matter on the impact of the new Labour Codes notified on 21 November 2025.
Strong sequential revenue recovery and return to profitability in Q3 are positive for the stock, though the swing from a loss in Q2 to a profit in Q3 suggests volatility in operations. The preferential warrant conversion has brought in additional capital, while the auditor change and ongoing Ind AS first-time adoption may warrant closer scrutiny of comparability with prior periods.
