The Board of Visagar Financial Services Ltd approved audited financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2025. The company reported a net loss of ₹381.57 lakhs for FY25, significantly wider than the ₹120.70 lakh loss in FY24. Total income fell sharply by about 61% to ₹12,956.73 lakhs (from ₹33,417.94 lakhs), driven mainly by a steep drop in investment income from ₹33,183.59 lakhs to ₹12,590.24 lakhs. Interest income, however, rose to ₹359.15 lakhs from ₹230.96 lakhs. Operating cash flow improved to a positive ₹26.46 lakhs compared to a negative ₹2,582.69 lakhs last year. The Board also appointed M/s. Kirti Sharma & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for 5 years and re-appointed Mr. Lakhpat M. Trivedi as Internal Auditor for FY26. The statutory auditor (Bhatter & Associates) issued an unqualified opinion with no key audit matters flagged.
Widening losses and a sharp revenue decline point to ongoing business stress, which is negative for shareholders. However, the clean audit opinion and a swing to positive operating cash flow provide some cushion. The stock may remain thinly traded and sentiment-driven given the weak earnings backdrop.
