Visagar Financial Services held its board meeting on May 30, 2025 and approved audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025. Total income for FY25 fell sharply to Rs 12,956.73 lakhs from Rs 33,417.94 lakhs in FY24, a decline of roughly 61%, mainly driven by lower investment income (Rs 12,590.24 lakhs vs Rs 33,183.59 lakhs). The company reported a net loss of Rs 16.07 lakhs for FY25, narrower than the Rs 120.70 lakh loss in FY24, but Q4 FY25 alone swung to a loss of Rs 234.33 lakhs versus a profit of Rs 90.61 lakhs in Q4 FY24. The board also appointed Kirti Sharma & Associates as secretarial auditor for five years and re-appointed Lakhpat M. Trivedi as internal auditor for FY26. The statutory auditor issued an unqualified opinion with no key audit matters flagged.
Shareholders should note the steep year-on-year revenue contraction, though the full-year loss has narrowed and operating cash flow turned slightly positive at Rs 26.46 lakhs. The Q4 loss and falling cash balance (Rs 64.71 lakhs vs Rs 221.97 lakhs) are concerns, but borrowings remain manageable relative to equity.
