Vishal Mega Mart posted Q2 FY26 results on Nov 13. Consolidated revenue from operations was 29,815 million rupees, down from 31,403 million a year ago. Net profit fell to 1,523 million from 2,061 million, about a 26 percent decline year on year. Standalone profit also dipped to 1,315 million from 1,766 million. Board appointed Yogesh Yadav as Independent Director, Vageesh Gupta from Partners Group as Non-Executive Director, and Sambit Swain as General Counsel.
Revenue and profit decline may weigh on the stock near term, but new board additions from PE and consumer industry bring fresh oversight.
