Vishvprabha Ventures Limited reported its audited results for FY25 along with board changes and a qualified auditor opinion. On a standalone basis, total income rose to ₹762.17 lakhs from ₹547.41 lakhs (up ~39%), and net profit jumped to ₹48.93 lakhs from ₹4.14 lakhs, translating to EPS of ₹1.96 (vs ₹0.24). However, Q4 FY25 alone saw a net loss of ₹89.82 lakhs. On a consolidated basis (including two subsidiaries in construction and food & beverages), total income grew to ₹1,072.64 lakhs from ₹595.91 lakhs (~80%), but the group still reported a net loss of ₹2.28 lakhs (vs ₹27.20 lakhs loss in FY24). The statutory auditor issued a qualified opinion for both standalone and consolidated results due to non-provisioning of gratuity liability as required under Ind AS 19. The company also appointed a new independent director and reconstituted its board committees.
Strong top-line growth and a turnaround in standalone profitability are positives, but the Q4 standalone loss, continued consolidated losses, negative operating cash flows, and a qualified audit opinion on gratuity provisioning are concerns. Shareholders should watch for sustained profitability at the group level and resolution of the audit qualification.
