Vision Cinemas Ltd reported its H1 FY26 (April-September 2025) results on a standalone and consolidated basis. Standalone revenue from operations dropped sharply to Rs 51.52 lakhs versus Rs 173.38 lakhs in the same period last year, a steep YoY decline of about 70%. However, Q2 standalone turned profitable with a PAT of Rs 6.36 lakhs, recovering from a Rs 11.43 lakh loss in Q1 FY26. For H1 FY26 overall, standalone PAT remained negative at a loss of Rs 5.07 lakhs, while the consolidated loss widened to Rs 8.69 lakhs due to subsidiary losses. The auditor flagged non-disclosure of the impact of pending litigations on the company's financial position as a matter of emphasis (without qualifying the report). Cash position remains thin at just Rs 0.57 lakhs on a standalone basis and Rs 1.12 lakhs consolidated.
Sequential improvement is a positive sign, but the steep YoY revenue contraction and continued H1 losses signal ongoing business stress. The auditor's emphasis on undisclosed litigation impact is a risk flag that shareholders should monitor.
