Vivo Bio Tech posted Q1 FY27 (ended June 30, 2026) consolidated revenue of Rs. 1,427.97 lacs, up about 14% YoY from Rs. 1,251.16 lacs. However, net profit crashed to Rs. 18.76 lacs from Rs. 133.71 lacs in Q1 FY26, a fall of about 86%, as employee costs rose 48%, depreciation rose 34%, and administrative expenses grew. PBT fell to Rs. 33.86 lacs from Rs. 147.99 lacs. EPS dropped to Rs. 0.08 from Rs. 0.74. Standalone numbers are similar. Auditor P. Murali & Co. gave a clean limited review report. Single segment: Bio Technology.
Sharp profit fall despite revenue growth signals heavy cost pressure and weak operating leverage, which may weigh on the stock despite topline expansion.
