V-Mart Retail reported Q2 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs 80,687 lakhs, up about 22% from Rs 66,097 lakhs last year. Q2 net loss narrowed sharply to Rs 887 lakhs from Rs 5,651 lakhs. For H1 FY26, the company swung to a net profit of Rs 2,473 lakhs versus a Rs 4,437 lakhs loss a year earlier. H1 EBITDA rose strongly to Rs 19,768 lakhs from Rs 13,760 lakhs. Operating cash flow improved to Rs 23,267 lakhs. Statutory auditors S.R. Batliboi and Co. LLP issued a clean limited review report. EPS for prior periods was restated for a 3 for 1 bonus issue during Q1 FY25.
Strong revenue growth and swing to profit signal margin recovery, but Q2 standalone loss and rising lease liabilities may cap near-term excitement.
