V-Mart Retail's Board approved its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited results on July 24, 2025. Revenue from operations rose about 12.6% year-on-year to Rs. 885.22 crore, up from Rs. 786.08 crore in Q1 FY25. Net profit jumped roughly 70% to Rs. 33.60 crore from Rs. 19.78 crore a year ago. Basic EPS came in at Rs. 4.23 (prior period EPS restated for the recent 3:1 bonus issue). The Retail Trade segment posted a profit of Rs. 52.74 crore, while the Digital Marketplace segment continued to report a loss of Rs. 5.06 crore. Statutory auditor S.R. Batliboi & Co. LLP issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Profit growth significantly outpaced revenue growth, pointing to healthy margin expansion, which is positive for shareholders. The 3:1 bonus issue improves share liquidity and affordability, but the persistent losses in the digital marketplace segment remain a watchpoint.
