VMS Industries Ltd reported standalone Q2 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs. 4,257.66 lakhs, up about 7.4% YoY from Rs. 3,964.42 lakhs. For H1 FY26, revenue rose to Rs. 9,747.41 lakhs versus Rs. 8,222.08 lakhs in the year-ago period, an 18.5% increase. Despite top-line growth, H1 profit after tax fell roughly 20% to Rs. 72.19 lakhs from Rs. 90.26 lakhs, as purchase of stock-in-trade and finance costs rose sharply. Q2 PAT was Rs. 46.79 lakhs (vs Rs. 43.47 lakhs) with EPS of Rs. 0.77. Operating cash flow for H1 FY26 was negative at Rs. (590.74) lakhs. Statutory auditor M/s S N Shah & Associates issued an unqualified limited review report, and the results were approved at the board meeting held on 13 November 2025.
Revenue is growing but profitability is slipping and operating cash generation is negative, suggesting working-capital strain. Investors should watch margin recovery and cash flow improvement before turning constructive on the stock.
