Voltamp Transformers reported Q1 FY27 revenue from operations of INR 543.78 crore, up 28% YoY from INR 423.58 crore. Net profit rose 15% to INR 91.22 crore vs INR 79.55 crore. PBT stood at INR 117.90 crore. EPS was INR 90.17. Board also approved INR 90 crore capex for a new 2300 MVA dry type transformer plant near Vadodara, funded via internal accruals within 12-14 months, to meet rising demand over the next 5-6 years. Existing capacity utilization is at 100% plus.
Strong top-line growth and capacity expansion signal management confidence in rising transformer demand, though margin pressure from higher input costs is visible.
