Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Voltas received two GST orders on 31st December 2025 from tax authorities. The first, from the Deputy Commissioner of CGST in Kolkata, demands ₹0.16 crore in tax plus an equal amount as penalty, alleging short payment of GST from FY2018-19 to FY2023-24. The second, from the Superintendent of CGST in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, demands ₹0.11 crore in tax plus an equal penalty, alleging disallowance of Input Tax Credit from FY2018-19 to FY2021-22. The combined exposure is about ₹0.54 crore including penalties and applicable interest. The company has stated it will file appeals against both orders and confirmed there is no material impact on its financials, operations, or other activities.
The financial impact is negligible given Voltas's overall size, and the company is contesting both orders. Shareholders are unlikely to see any meaningful effect on the stock price from this disclosure.
