Jaiprakash Associates, which is currently under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), informed stock exchanges about the voting outcome of its 20th Committee of Creditors (CoC) meeting. E-voting took place between 11th and 15th September 2025. Out of three items, two were approved by a strong majority: the list of claims was approved with 89.07% voting, and the ratification of the Resolution Professional's email to resolution applicants was approved with 89.48%. However, the proposal to approve the cost of an Insolvency Professional (IP) insurance policy was rejected, receiving only 3.61% voting, far below the required 51% threshold.
The company remains in active insolvency resolution with no resolution plan approved yet. The rejection of the IP insurance cost may delay or complicate the administrative setup of the insolvency process, while continued progress on claim verification keeps the resolution process moving forward for shareholders awaiting a final outcome.
