Vruddhi Engineering Works Ltd reported its H1 FY26 results (April–September 2025), with revenue from operations at ₹1,340.47 lakhs, down about 3% from ₹1,382.95 lakhs in the same period last year. Despite the revenue dip, net profit after tax jumped sharply to ₹106.27 lakhs from ₹39.17 lakhs — a rise of roughly 171% — driven by lower purchase costs and tighter expense control. Basic EPS improved to ₹4.21 from ₹1.55. The balance sheet strengthened with total equity rising to ₹940.55 lakhs and short-term borrowings easing to ₹330.75 lakhs. Operating cash flow swung to a positive ₹153.74 lakhs compared with a negative ₹456.52 lakhs a year earlier. The statutory auditor issued an unqualified limited review report.
Profitability has improved meaningfully on the back of better margins and cost discipline, and cash generation has turned positive, which is supportive. However, the slight year-on-year revenue decline is a soft signal worth tracking, as sustained topline growth remains key to justifying the recent valuation.
