Walchandnagar Industries reported Q2 FY26 revenue of Rs 5,178 lakh, down about 24% from Rs 6,786 lakh a year ago. Loss before tax stood at Rs 1,190 lakh versus Rs 1,102 lakh in Q2 FY25. For H1 FY26, revenue fell 31% to Rs 10,122 lakh and loss widened to Rs 2,229 lakh. Basic EPS was negative 1.76 for the quarter and negative 3.29 for the half year. An exceptional item of Rs 412 lakh was recognised. Heavy Engineering, the key segment, continues to post losses. Operating cash flow stayed positive at Rs 1,215 lakh.
Sustained losses and falling revenue point to weak order execution and pressure on the stock; investors should track order inflows and segment recovery.
