Welspun Enterprises reported Q1FY26 consolidated revenue of ₹845 Cr, down 9% YoY from ₹930 Cr, but EBITDA grew 8% to ₹208 Cr with margins expanding sharply by 377 basis points to a record 23.9%. Profit after tax stood at ₹101 Cr, down 8% YoY, dragged by a ₹13 Cr loss from discontinued operations. On a standalone basis, revenue fell 19% to ₹604 Cr, while EBITDA margin expanded 289 bps to 19.5% and PAT was largely flat at ₹87 Cr. The company has a robust order book of ₹13,665 Cr and is bidding for an additional ₹12,000–13,000 Cr of projects, guiding for 15–20% full-year revenue growth. Consolidated net debt stood at ₹378 Cr against cash of ₹1,068 Cr, with net worth at ₹2,811 Cr.
Despite top-line decline, strong margin expansion and a healthy order pipeline signal operational strength. Investors may view the record EBITDA margin and confident growth guidance as positive, though the YoY revenue dip and discontinued operations loss are mild negatives.
