Welspun Enterprises reported strong FY25 results with consolidated revenue from operations rising about 25% to Rs. 3,584.10 crores (from Rs. 2,874.21 crores in FY24). Net profit for the year grew nearly 11% to Rs. 353.83 crores. Q4 alone saw revenue jump to Rs. 1,021.47 crores and net profit of Rs. 105.49 crores, up about 36% year-on-year. The growth was driven mainly by Water (revenue up ~40%) and Tunneling & Rehabilitation (revenue more than doubled to Rs. 695.71 crores), while the legacy Transport segment revenue declined slightly. Auditor MGB & Co. LLP issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both consolidated and standalone results. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 3 per share (face value Rs. 10), with record date set for July 4, 2025. The company also increased its stake in subsidiary Welspun Michigan Engineers from 50.10% to 60.09% and divested two non-operative subsidiaries.
Strong topline growth of ~25% and healthy Q4 PAT growth of ~36% signal robust operational momentum, especially in newer segments like tunneling and water. The clean audit opinion and dividend payout are positive for shareholders. However, operating cash flow turned negative at Rs. (273.49) crores versus Rs. (51.60) crores last year due to large working capital build-up (receivables up Rs. 814 crores), which investors should monitor closely.
