Welspun Enterprises reported FY26 consolidated revenue of Rs 3,615 Cr (down 2% YoY) but with improved profitability. EBITDA grew 16% to Rs 845 Cr with margins expanding 350 bps to 22.8%. PAT increased 11% to Rs 393 Cr. The statutory auditors gave a clean (unmodified) opinion on the financial statements. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 3 per share and approved raising up to Rs 1,000 Cr via securities issuance. Leadership changes include Mr. Balkrishan Goenka transitioning from Executive to Non-Executive Chairman, and Mr. Sandeep Garg re-appointed as Managing Director for 3 years. Cost and Tax Auditors (M/s Kiran J. Mehta & Co. and M/s Sureka & Associates) were appointed for FY2026-27. The company has an order book of ~Rs 20,000 Cr including the new Pune-Shirur Road project worth Rs 7,300 Cr.
The company delivered strong margin expansion and profit growth despite modest revenue decline, driven by operational efficiency. The clean audit opinion and healthy cash position (consolidated cash Rs 1,728 Cr) are positive for investors. The proposed fund raise of Rs 1,000 Cr could be dilutive but supports growth plans. Leadership continuity with Sandeep Garg extended for 3 years provides stability.
