Welspun Enterprises reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs. 3,584.10 crores in FY25, up about 24.7% from Rs. 2,874.21 crores in FY24, driven by strong growth in the Water and Tunneling & Rehabilitation segments. Net profit for FY25 stood at Rs. 353.83 crores versus Rs. 319.40 crores in FY24, a roughly 10.8% rise, while basic EPS improved to Rs. 23.61 from Rs. 21.51. For Q4 FY25 alone, revenue grew about 24% year-on-year to Rs. 1,021.47 crores and quarterly profit came in at Rs. 105.49 crores versus Rs. 77.67 crores a year ago. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 3 per equity share (face value Rs. 10) subject to shareholder approval, with July 4, 2025 fixed as the record date. Statutory auditor MGB & Co., LLP issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both the consolidated and standalone results, and segment figures for prior periods were restated to reflect the new Transport, Water, and Tunneling & Rehabilitation verticals.
Strong double-digit revenue growth across diversified infrastructure segments is a clear positive, but rising finance costs and a near-doubling of non-current borrowings (from Rs. 558 cr to Rs. 1,269 cr) may pressure margins and warrant monitoring. The Rs. 3 per share dividend rewards shareholders and the clean audit opinion removes a key governance overhang.
