Welspun Living reported FY26 audited results with total income of ₹9,468 crore, down 11.5% YoY due to US tariff disruptions and global demand challenges. Q4FY26 showed sequential recovery with revenue up 7.7% QoQ to ₹2,451 crore and EBITDA margin at 10.8%. Full year EBITDA was ₹862 crore (9.1% margin) and PAT was ₹204 crore, down 68% YoY. The Board approved a ₹252 crore buyback of 1.44 crore shares at ₹175 per share (6.52% of capital), recommended a 10% dividend, and approved acquisition of 26% stake in CleanMax Dhyuthi Private Limited for ₹760 lakhs from promoter group entity Welspun Corp Limited. Net debt was reduced by 52% to ₹775 crore. Mr. Altaf Jiwani resigned as Whole-time Director & COO effective May 31, 2026, replaced by Mr. Keyur Parekh effective June 1, 2026.
The buyback of ₹252 crore and 52% debt reduction signal strong cash generation despite earnings decline. The 26% stake acquisition in renewable energy entity is a related party transaction at arm's length. Sequential Q4 recovery is positive but FY26 PAT decline of 68% is significant for shareholders.
