On the reaction day the stock moved 1.4 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.4 pts less than its Abrasives & Bearings peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Consolidated Q2 sales rose 2% to Rs 5,617 lakh, but PAT fell 75% to Rs 270 lakh. H1 sales rose 4% to Rs 10,780 lakh, while PAT fell 65% to Rs 648 lakh. Standalone sales were nearly flat at Rs 4,986 lakh and PAT fell 57% to Rs 455 lakh. Lower machine sales, Wendt brand amortisation and weaker exports hurt earnings.
Falling profit and machinery segment losses may hurt sentiment, despite modest sales growth, positive cash flow and no borrowings.
