Wendt (India) Limited reported audited standalone FY2026 results with revenue from operations of Rs 20,652 lakhs, marginally lower than Rs 21,197 lakhs in FY2025. However, profit after tax declined significantly to Rs 2,210 lakhs from Rs 3,774 lakhs in the prior year, representing a 41% decrease. EPS dropped to Rs 113.75 from Rs 191.46. On consolidated basis, revenue was Rs 23,632 lakhs (vs Rs 23,372 lakhs) with PAT at Rs 1,455 lakhs versus Rs 3,948 lakhs. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 10 per share, bringing total dividend for FY26 to Rs 30 per share (including Rs 20 interim dividend already paid). Statutory auditors Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants LLP issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
The company experienced a significant decline in profitability with PAT falling over 40% on standalone basis despite stable revenues. The strong dividend payout (Rs 30 per share) signals management confidence but the sharp profit contraction may weigh on stock price near-term.
