West Coast Paper Mills reported Q1FY27 unaudited results. Consolidated revenue fell 16% QoQ to Rs 1,051 Cr, but EBITDA jumped 55% to Rs 248 Cr and PAT surged 163% to Rs 142 Cr. Standalone PAT grew 122% to Rs 109 Cr. PAT margin expanded sharply to 13% (consolidated) and 17% (standalone) from 4% and 7% respectively in Q4FY26. Management cited better operational efficiency in Paper Division and higher realisations in Cable Division.
Strong margin expansion and PAT growth signal improved profitability, though revenue dip needs monitoring.
