Western Carriers (India) Limited submitted its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q3 and nine months ended December 31, 2025. Revenue from operations rose 7.9% YoY to Rs. 4,780.89 million in Q3, with nine-month revenue up 2.8% at Rs. 13,335.22 million. However, profitability weakened sharply — net profit fell about 18% YoY in Q3 to Rs. 108.27 million and dropped roughly 40% YoY for nine months to Rs. 305.56 million. EBITDA margins also compressed meaningfully, from around 6.4% to 5.6% in Q3 and from about 8% to 5.6% for the nine-month period, mainly on higher operational and employee costs. The board also appointed Mr. Sunil Duggal (former mining industry CEO) as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director for a five-year term, subject to shareholder approval. Of the Rs. 3,629.38 million net IPO proceeds, Rs. 2,688.28 million has been utilised and Rs. 941.10 million is temporarily parked in fixed deposits.
Revenue growth is positive but the sharp drop in profits and margin compression may weigh on the stock in the near term. The new independent director brings strong leadership experience, which is a positive governance signal but does not offset the earnings concern.
