On the reaction day the stock moved 5.5 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 3.6 pts more than its Restaurants peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Westlife Foodworld posted an unaudited consolidated after-tax loss of Rs 145.30 lakh for the half year to 30 September 2026, versus profit of Rs 2,893.69 lakh a year earlier. Q2 loss was Rs 203.98 lakh versus Rs 2,770.94 lakh profit. Material cost rose 32.2% to Rs 48,080.32 lakh. Last year's half included a Rs 816.68 lakh property gain and Rs 536.07 lakh investment impairment. The auditor's limited review found no material misstatement.
Profit reversal and higher costs may pressure sentiment, but the prior-year property gain made comparison uneven; the review was clean.
