Westlife Foodworld Ltd, which operates McDonald's restaurants through subsidiary Hardcastle Restaurants Private Limited, has reported audited financial results for FY26 ending March 31, 2026. Consolidated total revenue from operations grew to Rs 2,62,556 lakhs from Rs 2,49,119 lakhs in FY25, a growth of about 5.4%. Profit after tax more than doubled to Rs 323.20 lakhs from Rs 121.47 lakhs, driven significantly by an exceptional gain of Rs 5,817 lakhs from a property redevelopment transaction in Q2. The company also took a Rs 968.59 lakh exceptional charge related to new labour codes and Rs 536 lakhs impairment on investments. Statutory auditors SRBC & CO LLP issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
The strong PAT growth reflects one-time redevelopment gains; however, operating revenue growth of 5.4% is modest and cost pressures are visible. Shareholders should note the subsidiary has proposed a dividend of Rs 72 per share, but the core business expansion pace may disappoint growth-focused investors.
