Westlife Foodworld (McDonald's operator for West and South India) reported Q1 FY27 consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 735.64 crore, up 11.8 percent YoY from Rs 657.64 crore. Profit after tax fell sharply to Rs 58.68 lakh from Rs 122.75 lakh, down about 52 percent YoY, as expenses grew faster than revenue and profit margins turned very thin. EPS dropped to Rs 0.04 from Rs 0.08. Board declared an interim dividend of Rs 0.40 per share on face value Rs 2, with record date August 7, 2026 and payment on or before August 29, 2026.
Weak profit growth despite revenue gains signals cost pressure. The Rs 0.40 interim dividend offers a small but steady shareholder payout.
