Westlife Foodworld, McDonald's operator in West and South India, posted Q2 FY26 consolidated revenue of Rs 641.85 cr, down 2.4% YoY from Rs 657.64 cr. The company reported a loss of Rs 15.85 cr before exceptional items. An exceptional gain of Rs 58.17 cr from a Mumbai property redevelopment transaction and an investment impairment of Rs 5.36 cr pushed pre-tax profit to Rs 36.95 cr. PAT stood at Rs 27.71 cr versus Rs 1.23 cr a year ago. H1 FY26 revenue rose 5.3% YoY to Rs 1,299.49 cr.
Core restaurant operations remain loss-making; PAT jump is driven by a one-time property redevelopment gain, not underlying business improvement.
