Wheels India shareholders approved a special resolution to raise funds through QIP, ECBs, OCPS or CCPS in one or more tranches. The postal ballot received 99.99 percent votes in favor, with only 1,245 shares voted against out of 1,77,67,236 polled. Promoter group voted 100 percent in favor. The company can now proceed with its planned capital raising exercise.
Shareholder approval clears the path for fund raising; actual issuance may dilute equity depending on mode and pricing.
