On the reaction day the stock moved 0.7 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.7 pts more than its Auto Components & Equipments peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Wheels India raised about Rs 250 crore through a Qualified Institutions Placement, allotting 11.97 lakh equity shares at Rs 2,088 per share. The issue price carries a premium of Rs 2,078 over the face value of Rs 10 and is at a 4.97 percent discount to the floor price of Rs 2,197.10. The Fundraise Committee approved closure of the issue and allocation of shares to eligible institutional buyers on September 25, 2026.
Fresh equity issuance will dilute existing shareholders; pricing at a discount to floor price may put short-term pressure on the stock.
