Whirlpool of India reported FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 747,380 lakhs, marginally up 0.7% from Rs 742,080 lakhs in FY25. Profit after tax declined 22.7% to Rs 24,223 lakhs from Rs 31,337 lakhs in the prior year, impacted by labour code implementation costs of Rs 3,341 lakhs partially offset by Rs 991 lakhs final insurance claim from Delhi warehouse fire. EPS dropped to Rs 19.09 from Rs 24.70. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 5 per share (50% on face value). Leadership changes include resignation of Executive Director and CFO Mr. Anuj Lall (effective July 20, 2026) and appointment of Mr. Aditya Jain as Executive Director and CFO (effective July 21, 2026). S.R. Batliboi & Co. LLP issued an unmodified (clean) audit opinion. Whirlpool Corporation diluted its stake from 51% to 39.76%, and the company acquired remaining 31.8% stake in subsidiary ElicaPB Whirlpool Kitchen Appliances.
Profit declined significantly despite stable revenue, indicating margin compression. The dividend recommendation provides shareholder回报. Leadership transition and promoter dilution may create near-term uncertainty.
