Whirlpool of India Q3 FY26 (Dec 25): standalone revenue rose 3.8% to INR 1,624 crore but PAT fell 44% to INR 15 crore on a INR 33 crore Labour Code charge. 9M revenue dipped 1.6% and PAT dropped 13% to INR 176 crore. Ultimate parent Whirlpool Corp cut its stake from 51% to 39.76%, changing control. Board will buy the remaining 3.18% in subsidiary Elica PB for about INR 59 crore cash, taking ownership to 100%. Auditor gave a clean review.
Weak Q3 profits and parent exit raise governance concerns; full ownership of Elica subsidiary is mildly positive for cleaner consolidated books.
