Wipro reported consolidated revenue of ₹926,240 million for FY2026, up 4% from ₹890,884 million in the prior year. Profit after tax remained essentially flat at ₹132,655 million versus ₹132,180 million in FY2025. The company completed a merger of five wholly-owned subsidiaries effective April 1, 2025, with prior period numbers restated. Implementation of new Labour Codes resulted in a one-time employee cost impact of ₹2,756 million. The Board approved a share buyback of up to 600 million shares at ₹250 per share (aggregate ₹150,000 million). Deloitte issued an unmodified audit opinion with no going concern issues.
Revenue growth of 4% is modest; PAT remained flat while EPS (basic) was ₹12.60 versus ₹12.56. The approved ₹150 billion buyback signals confidence but will reduce cash reserves. No audit qualifications are positive for investor confidence.
