Wipro Limited submitted its audited financial results for Q1 FY2026, with the board meeting held on July 16-17, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations rose modestly to ₹171,954 million from ₹167,953 million year-on-year, while standalone profit for the period jumped about 54% to ₹36,961 million from ₹24,047 million. On a consolidated basis, revenue grew marginally to ₹221,346 million from ₹219,638 million, with consolidated profit up about 10% to ₹33,365 million. Basic EPS stood at ₹3.53 (standalone) and ₹3.18 (consolidated). The board declared an interim dividend of ₹5 per share (250% on par value of ₹2) with July 28, 2025 as the record date. Prior period numbers have been restated following the merger of five wholly-owned subsidiaries with Wipro effective April 1, 2025, approved by NCLT in June 2025. Auditors Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unmodified opinion on the results.
Positive for shareholders given the sharp jump in standalone profits, a healthy interim dividend, and clean audit opinion, though the lacklustre consolidated revenue growth and ₹2,469 million in restructuring charges may temper near-term sentiment.
