Yug Decor Limited reported FY25 revenue of ₹3,319.71 lakhs, up about 18% from ₹2,806.33 lakhs in FY24, driven mainly by its Speciality Chemicals-Adhesives segment. However, net profit collapsed sharply to just ₹6.71 lakhs (₹0.09 EPS) from ₹129.90 lakhs (₹1.81 EPS) a year earlier. The newly launched Plywood Boards segment (started June 2024) contributed ₹145.44 lakhs in revenue but posted a loss of ₹73 lakhs, dragging overall margins. Total expenses rose to ₹3,314.16 lakhs from ₹2,630.97 lakhs, compressing profitability. The auditor (P.D. Goinka & Co.) issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. Operating cash flow was deeply negative at ₹(846.58) lakhs, and closing cash fell to just ₹0.70 lakhs. The company also raised ₹359.64 lakhs via a rights issue during the year.
Despite higher revenue, shareholders should note the steep ~95% drop in net profit, the loss-making new Plywood segment, and the sharply negative operating cash flow, which signals serious pressure on margins and liquidity. The stock may react negatively given the weak bottom line, though the clean audit report and ongoing diversification provide some context.
