ZF Steering Gear India reported standalone revenue of Rs. 556.74 crore for FY26, up 13% from Rs. 492.86 crore in FY25. However, standalone net profit declined 6.2% to Rs. 31.78 crore from Rs. 33.89 crore, while consolidated net profit fell 4.4% to Rs. 12.04 crore. The Q4 standalone PAT dropped to Rs. 4.19 crore from Rs. 9.82 crore in Q4 FY25, and consolidated Q4 showed a loss of Rs. 0.89 crore due to higher tax expense of Rs. 20.91 crore. EBITDA margin compressed from 16.2% to 14.9% despite revenue growth. The company has an unmodified auditor opinion with no going concern issues. An exceptional item of Rs. 0.67 crore was recorded for statutory impact of new labour codes. The board also approved a Rs. 25 crore capacity expansion at subsidiary Metacast Auto Private Limited, increasing casting capacity from 10,000 to 25,000 metric tonnes per annum, to be funded primarily through borrowings.
Revenue growth of 13% is positive but profit decline and margin compression may concern investors. The capacity expansion signals growth investment but increases debt burden. Strong cash flow from operations at Rs. 82.55 crore supports the expansion plans.
