ZF Steering Gear posted Q1FY27 standalone PAT of Rs 18.52 cr, up 55 percent from Rs 11.95 cr a year ago. Revenue from operations rose 5 percent to Rs 137.78 cr. Consolidated PAT grew 60 percent to Rs 11.42 cr. Board also raised aluminium project cost at wholly owned subsidiary DriveSys from Rs 100 cr to Rs 150 cr for an integrated value chain unit; Rs 118 cr already spent. Auditor issued unmodified limited review.
Strong profit growth shows operational momentum. Higher subsidiary capex may weigh on near-term returns but supports diversification.
