ZF Steering Gear reported Q1FY27 standalone PAT of Rs 18.52 Cr, up 55% from Rs 11.95 Cr YoY, on revenue of Rs 137.78 Cr. Total income rose 13% to Rs 156.62 Cr. Consolidated PAT grew 30% to Rs 11.42 Cr. Board also approved hiking the aluminium project cost of subsidiary DriveSys from Rs 100 Cr to Rs 150 Cr to add value-chain facilities and expand capacity. Rs 118 Cr already spent. Auditor issued unmodified opinion.
Strong PAT growth on margin expansion; higher capex commitment for aluminium expansion signals growth push, may pressure near-term returns.
