ZF Steering Gear (India)'s Board approved unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. Standalone total income was Rs. 119.79 crore in Q2 FY26 (vs Rs. 117.90 crore in Q2 FY25, up ~1.5%) and Rs. 258.26 crore for H1 FY26 (vs Rs. 255.18 crore, up ~1.2%). Standalone profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 4.14 crore in Q2 (from Rs. 5.90 crore, down ~30% YoY) and to Rs. 16.09 crore in H1 (from Rs. 20.13 crore, down ~20% YoY). Consolidated results were weighed down by subsidiary losses of about Rs. 9.22 crore in H1 across Drivesys, Nexsteer and Metacast. Statutory auditor Joshi Apte & Co. issued an unmodified limited review opinion on both sets of results.
Sharp YoY drop in standalone PAT (~20-30%) despite stable revenue points to meaningful margin compression, which is negative for near-term earnings sentiment. The weak subsidiary performance may also keep consolidated profitability under pressure, though the clean audit opinion and continued positive operating cash flow limit downside concerns.
