Zenith Healthcare Limited reported unaudited standalone results for Q2 FY26 with revenue from operations of Rs. 226.66 lakhs, down sharply from Rs. 502.79 lakhs in Q2 FY25 — a drop of nearly 55%. Net profit for the quarter came in at Rs. 14.18 lakhs (EPS Rs. 0.026) versus Rs. 9.34 lakhs in the year-ago quarter, but on a much smaller revenue base. For the half-year (H1 FY26), revenue fell to Rs. 341.77 lakhs from Rs. 1,132.97 lakhs in H1 FY25, a steep ~70% decline, while net profit slipped to Rs. 12.30 lakhs from Rs. 24.59 lakhs. The company operates only in pharmaceutical trading as a single segment. Statutory auditors Doshi Doshi & Co issued an unqualified limited review report.
Sharp revenue contraction is the main concern — the top line has nearly halved year-on-year in Q2 and shrunk by two-thirds on a half-year basis, even as margins appear to have expanded on lower revenue. Shareholders should watch for sustained recovery in the trading business, as profitability gains on a shrinking base are not reassuring for long-term value.
