Zenotech Laboratories reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs 3,897.57 lakhs in FY25, up about 6% from Rs 3,676.15 lakhs in FY24. Q4 revenue jumped roughly 37% YoY to Rs 1,111.32 lakhs. Profit after tax for FY25 fell to Rs 561.29 lakhs from Rs 829.87 lakhs, mainly because the previous year had a lower tax base. The company booked an exceptional gain of Rs 192.32 lakhs from reversal of provisions linked to settlement of old EPCG export licenses under a one-time amnesty scheme. Basic EPS for the year stood at Rs 0.92 versus Rs 1.36 last year. Operating cash flow remained healthy at Rs 948.84 lakhs, and cash balances grew sharply to Rs 2,657.51 lakhs from Rs 181.57 lakhs, aided by release of margin money deposits.
Full-year profits declined despite top-line growth because of higher tax outflow and rising employee and other expenses. However, the strong Q4 revenue rebound, debt-free balance sheet, and improving cash position are positives for shareholders. The auditor issued an unmodified opinion, reinforcing credibility of the numbers.
