Zensar Technologies reported Q1FY26 revenue of $162.0 million, up 4.9% year-on-year in reported currency and 3.3% quarter-on-quarter. In Indian rupees, revenue came in at Rs 13,850 million, growing 7.5% YoY. Profit after tax rose 12.1% YoY in USD to $21.2 million, with PAT margin improving to 13.1%. The company booked new orders worth $172.0 million, up 11.7% YoY, and held cash and investments of $315.7 million with zero debt. EBITDA margin stood at 15.2%, slightly lower than the previous quarter's 15.6%, due to higher sales and marketing spend. Vertical performance was mixed, with Healthcare and Life Sciences growing 16.5% YoY in constant currency while Telecom, Media & Technology declined 5.6% YoY. The US region, which contributes 68.3% of revenue, grew 4.3% YoY.
The quarter shows steady but moderate growth with healthy order bookings, strong cash position, and improving PAT margins. The slight EBITDA margin compression and weak TMT vertical may concern investors, but overall low attrition, zero debt, and AI-led deal traction support a stable outlook for shareholders.
