Zuari Industries reported a strong turnaround in FY26 with standalone PAT of ₹12.1 crore versus a loss of ₹37.4 crore in FY25. Standalone total income was ₹994.9 crore with EBITDA up 6.8% to ₹191.5 crore. On a consolidated basis, PAT swung to ₹105.8 crore profit from a ₹94.4 crore loss in FY25. The Sugar, Power & Ethanol division delivered record performance with highest-ever Q4 crush of 92.4 lakh quintals and seasonal crush of 163.7 lakh quintals. Ethanol production rose 10.1% YoY to 37,276 KL. Finance costs declined to ₹111.8 crore from ₹123.2 crore. Several segments — Real Estate, Power, and Furniture — continued to report losses though Real Estate improved as the St. Regis Residences Dubai project reached ~98% completion.
The company has returned to profitability after two consecutive loss years, driven by record sugar crush volumes, lower debt costs, and improved operational efficiency. The diversified business structure is showing early signs of stability, though persistent losses in real estate, power, and furniture segments remain a watch item.
