Zuari Industries reported strong recovery in FY26 with standalone net profit of Rs. 1,214.38 lakhs versus a loss of Rs. 3,736.81 lakhs in FY25, while consolidated net profit stood at Rs. 10,578.21 lakhs versus a loss of Rs. 9,437.38 lakhs in the prior year. The Board approved audited financial results and recommended a final dividend of Rs. 1 per equity share (10% on Rs. 10 face value), subject to shareholder approval at the AGM. For preference shares, an interim dividend of 3.70% was declared. The company also re-appointed Mr. Alok Saxena as Whole Time Director for two years and shifted its registered office within Goa. Other equity dropped significantly from Rs. 4.08 billion to Rs. 3.07 billion on standalone basis, largely due to negative other comprehensive income of Rs. 10,218.86 crore.
The company returned to profitability with significant improvement in both standalone and consolidated earnings, which is positive for investor sentiment. The recommended dividend of Rs. 1 per share provides a modest income return to equity shareholders, though the payout appears conservative given the strong recovery in profitability.
