Zuari Industries reported a turnaround in FY2026 with standalone profit after tax of Rs 1,214.38 lakhs versus a loss of Rs 3,736.81 lakhs in FY2025. Consolidated PAT improved significantly to Rs 10,578.21 lakhs from a loss of Rs 9,437.38 lakhs, driven largely by a substantial increase in share of profit from associates and joint ventures (Rs 22,336.03 lakhs vs Rs 6,183.23 lakhs). Standalone revenue from operations remained nearly flat at Rs 87,428.09 lakhs, while consolidated revenue grew 7.7% to Rs 1,04,482.40 lakhs. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified opinion confirming clean financials. The Board also declared a final dividend of 10% on equity shares and approved reappointment of Whole Time Director Mr. Alok Saxena.
The company returned to profitability on both standalone and consolidated basis, which is positive for shareholders. However, the profit growth was primarily driven by higher income from associates and joint ventures rather than core operations, as standalone PBT before exceptional items rose 70% but remains modest at Rs 5,409.44 lakhs.
