Zydus Lifesciences reported standalone revenue of ₹114,840 million for FY2026, down from ₹151,163 million in FY2025 — a decline of about 24%. Standalone net profit fell to ₹28,137 million from ₹57,749 million in the prior year, a drop of roughly 51%, impacted by a ₹1,068 million exceptional item (investment impairment). The auditors from Deloitte issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. Consolidated revenue grew to ₹271,484 million from ₹232,415 million, reflecting strong performance from overseas subsidiaries. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹1 per share (100% payout), subject to shareholder approval at the AGM on August 11, 2026.
The standalone revenue and profit decline is a concern for existing shareholders, though the clean audit opinion and dividend declaration provide some comfort. The consolidated numbers show the group is diversifying successfully beyond India.
