Net profit fell about 36 percent to Rs 9,398 Million on higher depreciation, finance costs, and one-time integration expenses. Pharma segment revenue grew 10 percent to Rs 62,981 Million, consumer products jumped 67 percent. Company completed Rs 11,063 Million share buyback at Rs 1,260 per share, and received Rs 1,468 Million from Teva settlement. Strong topline from acquisitions, but margins and profits compressed due to integration costs. Mixed quarter for shareholders.
