Manufactures sugar, rectified spirit, alcohol, CO2, calcium lactate, bio-fertilizers and industrial machinery through its sugar operations and engineering subsidiary EIMCO-KCP. In FY26, the sugar segment generated ₹141.55 crore of revenue (60.3% of segment revenue) but posted a segment EBIT loss of ₹17.31 crore amid weak commodity pricing. The engineering segment contributed ₹14.73 crore of revenue and ₹4.11 crore of segment EBIT, and EIMCO-KCP recently secured a ₹257 crore order from Hyundai Engineering and Construction for a Reactor Clarifier Package on a Common Seawater Supply Project. Power & Fuel (likely bagasse-based cogeneration) brought in ₹19.70 crore of revenue, while chemicals (calcium lactate, bio-fertilizers) and 'others' (distillery and CO2/alcohol products) added ₹13.84 crore and ₹44.95 crore respectively. Raw materials — primarily sugarcane — account for 73.5% of revenue, with employees at 13.0% and other opex at 16.8%. Standalone the company posted a net loss of ₹2.62 crore, but the consolidated profit after tax of ₹11.13 crore reflects contribution from subsidiaries. Sugar inventory on the books carried a value of ₹75.51 crore. AR · MarketPing reader · 2026-08-02

Sources, method and disclosures

This document is a statistical summary of publicly filed information and market data, prepared by software from primary sources: SEBI results XBRL filed with BSE and NSE, LODR disclosures, shareholding patterns, exchange price data. It contains no research recommendation, no price target and no opinion on the merits of any security, and is not a research report within the meaning of the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014, Regulation 2(1)(w)(vii). Financial statements are as filed (consolidated where the company files consolidated results). Ratios are computed over filed lines. Where a figure is unavailable the table shows a dash rather than an estimate. The business brief is written by MarketPing's reader from the annual report and checked against it; no figure in a table was generated by a model. Nothing here constitutes investment advice, an offer or a solicitation; readers should consult a SEBI-registered adviser before acting. MarketPing is not a SEBI-registered intermediary.
